When out on a date with a Mormon guy or girl, be very decent, courteous, and well-mannered. Again, I deeply love my dad, but these were things that I had to deal with. She is probably thinking she can convert you if she is with you long enough and is a good enough example. Over the years, it would have felt increasingly burdensome to accommodate practices that seemed to me like superstition. But the reason I don't know him well enough is because we don't spend enough time together, or I feel like he's not really "letting me in" to get close to him.
