Prior to her marriage to Cash, she was professionally known as June Carter and occasionally was still credited as such after her marriage as well as on songwriting credits predating it. She played guitar, banjo , harmonica, and autoharp , and acted in several films and television shows. Her parents were country music performers and she performed with the Carter Family from the age of 10, in She attended John Marshall High School during this period. With her thin and lanky frame, June Carter often played a comedic foil during the group's performances alongside other Opry stars Faron Young and Webb Pierce. Carl McConnell wrote in his memoirs that June was "a natural-born clown, if there ever was one. Ezra "Eck" Carter, Maybelle's husband and manager of the group, declined numerous offers from the Grand Ole Opry to move the act to Nashville, Tennessee , because the Opry would not permit Atkins to accompany the group onstage.

John Carter Cash born March 3, is an American country singer-songwriter, author and producer. Having been involved with music all his life, John Carter Cash spends much of his time working as a record producer. He is also a singer-songwriter, and author. The grandson of Maybelle Carter — and the only son of Johnny Cash — and June Carter Cash — , he preserves the family legacy and is caretaker to the heritage of his musical ancestors. He was referenced numerous times in his parents' recordings. For several years after his birth, his father altered the conclusion of " A Boy Named Sue " to mention him by name; in his parents recorded the duet "I Got a Boy And His Name is John " about their son; and in a photograph of John Carter Cash frolicking with his father adorned the sleeve of the album Look at Them Beans. John Carter Cash also dabbled in recording music, duetting with his father on two tracks recorded for the Johnny Cash album Water from the Wells of Home.

That is the million dollar question. Yes, we had been in a rough patch for sometime with all of the changing happening around us, moving, starting residency, etc. I have observed in relationships among friends and family inside and outside of the church that holding a temple recommend does not guarantee a strong, happy marriage.
